This is a waterfall. The "young kids" ran here before running the mile and a half to the glacier. We had to catch a train in 45 mins. Yes, almost 3 miles, 45 minutes at an altitude of 2000m. | ![]() Another view well worth the run |

At this point i just run about 1/2 mile to the edge of the glacier, it is raining AND cold. I thought my pants and shirt were wet at this point. I had to catch a train in 15 minutes. Luckily the 'young kids' decided to take the next train. | ![]() Also, I don't shave when I am on vacation |
Someone gave me the idea of going in the glacier water, but she did it on a warm sunny day. My feet were numb in about 20 seconds.
